Refund & Return Policy

Introduction:

At That’s Not How You Christian, every item in our store is made just for you, one order at a time. We do not keep piles of inventory in a holy warehouse somewhere. We only print what you order. Because of this, we are not able to offer returns or exchanges for things like wrong sizes, changed minds, or buyer’s remorse. We understand sometimes you repent, but unfortunately that does not get you a refund.

If your order arrived damaged or misprinted:

We have you covered. If something is not right, whether the print is off, the item is damaged, or it looks like the delivery guy baptized it in motor oil, email us within 30 days of delivery.

Send a message to support@thatsnothowyouchristian.com and include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • A photo of the damage or misprint (this is required)

We will work with our fulfillment partner to fix the issue. If approved, we will either reprint the item or issue a refund.

If your order never showed up:

If your order is missing, email us right away. Do not wait. Claims for lost packages must be submitted within 14 days of the expected delivery date so we have enough time to work with our fulfillment partner before their deadline. If your message comes in after that window, we may not be able to offer a replacement or refund. The sooner we hear from you, the more likely we can resolve it quickly. We will work with our fulfillment partner to track down the shipment and find a solution.

What we cannot accept for returns:

  • Orders where the wrong size was selected

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Any item sent back without contacting us first

  • Digital downloads

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards (see full gift card terms below)

Gift cards are digital-only and cannot be returned, refunded, reloaded, or redeemed for cash (except where required by law). Gift cards are redeemable only at our main store at thatsnothowyouchristian.com and cannot be used directly through TikTok Shop, Instagram checkout, or any other third party platform. Any remaining balance can be used toward a future order, but we cannot offer a refund or cash-out of unused value.

Please do not return anything without contacting us:

All returns sent to our fulfillment partner without approval may be rejected, disposed of, or donated to charity. None of these options will result in a refund.

If the address you entered was incorrect:

If the shipping address you provided at checkout is incorrect or incomplete and the package is returned to our fulfillment partner, you will be responsible for the cost to reship the item to the correct address. We cannot issue a refund or send a replacement until the original package is returned. If the package is lost due to an incorrect address, we will not be able to offer a refund or replacement.

Note on Free Shipping: While we currently offer free shipping on all standard orders, this does not cover return shipping in the event of customer error (such as entering an incorrect address). If a reshipment is needed due to an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer is responsible for those additional shipping costs. Shipping terms are subject to change without notice, so please refer to this page for the most current policy.

We do not currently ship outside the United States:

We love the nations, but right now we only ship to addresses within the United States. If this changes in the future, we will update our policies to reflect any applicable laws or customer rights.

We do not offer exchanges:

Because each item is made to order, we are not able to offer exchanges for size or design. If you want something different, you are welcome to place a new order after we review and resolve any issue with the original one.

Refund timeline:

If your refund is approved, we will issue it to your original payment method within 10 business days. Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

If it has been more than 15 business days since your refund was approved and you still do not see the funds, please contact us at support@thatsnothowyouchristian.com.

If the item was originally purchased using a gift card, we’ll reissue store credit to the same card rather than refunding a payment method. Gift cards cannot be refunded or converted into cash, even if only partially used.

Return address:

By default, all approved returns go to our fulfillment partner’s facility. If a return is approved, we will provide the correct return address and instructions. Please do not send anything to our business address.
