Hot on the Griddle

Is your faith resting… or sticking to the pan?

Jesus says in Matthew 11:30 that His yoke is easy and His burden is light, which honestly explains a lot. Christianity was never meant to be hard boiled. It was meant to be warm, a little runny, and handled with care. Gentle heat. Minimal pressure. If it starts sticking to the pan, you are doing something wrong.

Some of us turned faith into scrambled eggs. Overmixed. Overworked. Stressy. Burnt around the edges. Jesus was very clear. Low heat. Stay close. Let Him do most of the work. You flip when He says flip.

If following Jesus feels exhausting, dry, or rubbery, you may have ignored basic breakfast instructions. His yolk is not heavy. It is delicate. And if you break it trying to rush things, that is on you.

Question for the Week and Strong:

1. What are you stirring nonstop that Jesus clearly said not to touch yet?

2. Are you resting in grace or whisking anxiety into everything?

3. Is your faith nourishing or technically edible?

This Week in Prayer and Unnecessary Whisking:

Lord, I confess I have been scrambling what You clearly meant to stay intact. Please forgive the panic flips and the unnecessary whisking. Amen.
